I was cleaning up my desk and found a roll of sticker sheet that I used to create 'LIMITED EDITION' decal, so I decided to do this write up. You can go to any sign shop and ask for leftover white sticker sheet. Most likely, they will just give it to you. It's too much work for 'LIMITED EDITION,' so I'll just make something simple as an aexample. If you really want to have them, follow the process and make a set.

Use paper and pencil to trace old decal. This is driver's side. Note the angle. Passenger side and driver's side, they are NOT same.

This is passenger side. I just traced 'DIT' for my little project.

I used the template to design letters. Basically, you want same spacing, angles and stuff.

Cut the template and attach to the sticker sheet.

You are going to cut the lines carefully, and it'll come out like this. You don't want to cut it all the way down. You just want to cut the first layer, so they won't fall apart.

Put a piece of tape over to hold it together.

Flip it and you are going to remove portions that you don't want.

It's done, but I didn't like how '3' looked. It was too square, so I cut the corners. Now, it's ready to go on to the car.

Line up the letters and attach them. All done!!!

Very good idea, not everyone has access to a plotter printer and the software to cut these via computer.

Wow, that's pretty neat.

Would you (or anyone else) mind taking a straight shot of the Limited Edition decal? I could trace it in vector format & have some printed out for the lazy people, haha.

Great idea! Think I'm going to head over to my local sign shop and get some red sticker sheet to redo mine. You can still get the black accent strips from Nissan right? Mine looks like poo. I might just get some black sticker sheet too and make my own...has to be cheaper then getting them from Nissan.

I found the accent stripes on CourtesyParts.com. Looks like they run a little over $200 for a full set...ouch. I'll be making my own...or I may just remove it and do the "LIMITED EDITION" in black.

I did something different for the driver's side.

I've also made a stencil like this and have in PDF format(1:1 scale). I wonder if Eikon can host this for us. Below screen shot is just an example. If you have access to application and vinyl cutter, you can make your own. I'll also work with one of NICO members to create exact replica of LIMITED EDITION decal for you guys. I'll let you guys know.

*** I don't want people to use this stencil for the commercial purpose.
