well after months of chasing this stupid no start issue (the thread is still on the first page) im begining to suspect it may be a wiring issue with the CAS. can someone tell me how to jump my CAS to work to help diag this issue??

you cant jump a cas lol

only way to really test it is to unbolt it from the engine and turn it by hand to see if the injectors click.

i meant jump the wiring.

like can some one tell me where each wire is supposed to be wired to, so i can re-wiring it directly to the right source to make sure the wiring is correct and not messed up some where in the harness

If you are getting fuel and spark then the cas may not be your issue, but Ive seen some weird cas problems on rb26s. The way to test your cas is to...

1. take cas off with it still plugged in2. turn ur ignition to run3. place the negative lead of your mulimeter on a ground4. probe the wires in the connector to make sure you have a +12vdc5. now there should be 1 or 2 signal wires at like 3 or 5 volts when you are spinning the cas

I dont know the pinout of the rb cas off hand, but it should have 2 signal wires for different degrees. Like Joe said you should hear the fuel pump on and the injectors click when you spin it. Ill find the exact wire pinout for you from a friend. gl

They look like crap on my phone.

So I need to splice the signal wires into 2 pins each?

Why do you need to jump it?Just check for continuity.

To be 100% sure it's wired correctly. If theywere shorted to each other or something it's possible they would still have continuity

Yes and that's part of a wiring check. You check continuity to each end and to each other. Obviously you want continuity to each end but not to each other. Next check for a good power source and ground.

I did that spin test The injectors work it just seems like they aren't firing at the correct time. That's why I'm concerned about the signal wires. So do I splice each signal wire to 2 ecu pins?
