How to integrate iphone with the car's audio sytem?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I didn't take the navigation package, so I don't have blue tooth in my car. Is there any way I can make the iphone to play music through the car's speaker?

Assuming the iPhone is compatible with regular headphones/earbuds ... just get a mini-stereo to dual (red + white) RCA cord. Plug the mini-stereo end into the iPhone's headphone jack and the two RCAs into the RCA sockets inside the centre storage console. When you select "AUX" as the sound source in the car, you should hear the music being played. (Of course, this won't give you handsfree telephone usage like Bluetooth does.)
