how to intall a ka24de

alright i havta buy a new motor but dont have enough money to buy an sr. so im going to buy a crate KA instead.. i dont know how to intall. can anyone help me or know of any good stes for it.?

Do you already have a DE motor and are just swapping DE's or are you going from a SOHC E to a DOHC DE?

How much is this crate motor you are getting? Is is a built motor or just a new factory motor. As for how to install it, buy a service manual and it will have pretty decent instructions. And as stated above what is the year of the car?

yea i jsut got my factory service manual this week the diagrams are great and finally having the specs on everything is alot more comforting.

i have a 91 hatch... 24de to de. so same swap.

swap is pretty straightforward, specially since they're the same engine, just remember what wiring connectors go where, tape them up, label them, thats it

im doin the 93 chassis to 92 engine swap within the enxt couple weeks, i got 8 psi of compression in the first 3 cyls so im scrappin that one and just throwin a new one in
