How to install rear koni shocks??

I'm trying out the kyb in the front and koni yellows in the rear combo. I made sure i got koni's in the rear because the fronts are inserts. The kyb's seem to install fine but the koni's are having a problem. It doesn't seem to install like other shocks i've seen before. Do I have the wrong part? or is there something I have to do before i install. Please help. Thanks a lot for readin.

Um, I believe both front & rear koni's for the 240 are inserts.

rears are not inserts.

Is it a problem of them not budging into their locations? If so, maybe the dampening is too hard, put it on the lowest setting, and use a jack to compress them if needed.
