Not from behind a computer, get out there with some masking tape, set them in place and figure out where you need to drill and what hardware you need.

You need 2 thin metal brackets on top, 3 brackets under the car, 4 brackets and screws front and back. Believe it or not, it was harder for me to find original hardwares than side skirts. If you can't find them, just use zip ties, double sided tapes, screws, bolts and washers. They will do just fine. IMO, no need to drill holes on your car for OEM side skirts.

If you have the skirts, you could answer your own question. Really, it's not that difficult. You don't have to do it like that guy ^. He is VERY anal about his car, and everything is perfect lol.

Yes, they are OEM s13 aero side skirts. No, you don't make holes on OEM side skirts. Holes are already there. You would need washers for front and back to hold the side skirt against fenders. Yeah, if you have side skirts, you will figure out easily.

Would you mind sharing where to find some oem hardware for your skirts? Or did you make those yourself?

Sorry for threadjack but this is the perfect thread for me to ask this:

I have NEW OEM Type X sides with all hardware and they have push on clips along the way, it appears that I will need to drill through the rockers. Anybody have any insight on this? Sure double sided tape might work but is it safe?.0

*Ahem*, KOUKI sides. You won't need to drill through the rockers. The two metal brackets up top go into the little push through plastic screws on the step panel.

I installed them this exact way:

I was lucky and found my skirts MINT off of a moderator on Zilvia and he included all the hardware with the skirts for an AMAZING price. The only thing 94_240sx forgot to mention was the two screws at the front wheel wells go into where the holes line up with the skirts. They're blatant and you can't miss them.

Lol, easy stuff like that can be gotten at your local hardware store.

Example: Lowes, Home Depot, etc....

It's just some nuts, bolts, and metal plates dude.

i have the same skirts and yes 4 lug hero is either thinking of the wrong ones or misinformed. the little plastic push clips do indeed go into holes drilled in the rocker. it also gets double sided tape along the top. if you don't want to drill holes though use the tape and a rivet or 2 and it'll be fine without drilling any holes

Thank you WC, I know what I'm talking about and so do you. I think the best way to install them is by drilling tem to the rockers. How did you install them WC?

BTW: WC did you ever get your hands on a pig lip? I found me one last week for $19! I was soo happy. Two small cracks, but repairable I think.

yeah i installed them using the little clips and drilling into the rockers. what i did is put a little paint on the tip of the clips and got my dad to help me hold it up against the side of the car so that it left little paint marks where i needed to drill.

yeah actually i did pick up a pig lip for $20 but it came attached to a pig bumper

Ha thats exactly what I had I mind. OR, I'm sure you can just go ahead and drill them for good if you have a couple people hold them up to where they should.

Damn you scored a better deal than me then. Not a fan of the piggy bumper but ehh, hell of a deal. Also are the rear valances easy to install?

i dont like the pig bumper either so i'm trying to sell it. if no one wants it i'll just trash itthe kouki rears are very easy the sides match up with the holes in the inner fender lip and the center section it matched to where the bumper is attached at the bottom

I emailed several places to locate them. I bought most stuff from eBay sellers located in Japan and the last bottom bracket from Panda Garage. Bottom brackets look like these and it wasn't easy to find them in good condition.

Actually, I did mentioned them, but it wasn't correct. 2 screws for the front and 2 brackets and 2 bolts for the rear.

My sideskirts came with 3 out of the 6 bottom brackets. I didn't even know the brackets in the doorjams existed until now. My sideskirts are held on by four zipties each and double sided tape.
