It is HIGHLY recommended that when you add lowering springs to any vehicle, that you upgrade to better struts that will dampen the higher spring rate better. With the lowering springs installed with factory struts/shocks, the factory struts cannot control the spring oscillations of the new springs. This will usually result in a "bouncy-down-the-road condition." Furthermore, the lowering springs placed more stress on the factory struts since the C.O.G. (center of gravity) of the vehicle has been changed. Since you have to remove everything to do the swap, you might as well purchase a set of KYB GR-2s or Koni Strut inserts and save yourself the trouble in the future, and the embarrasement of having to do it twice and drive down the road boucing.
