i just bought the injen intake system with the cold air extension. i installed the main intake system but dunno how to add the cold air extension. it basically leads to under the car, but there is sheet metal in the way and can't see where it should go from under the car. anybody here install the CAE. i'm also having hesitation problems when accelerating hard from low rpms. didn't have this problem with stock intake. all hoses were connected properly. did i miss sumthin. oh yeah the car is a '92 240SX. thanks for any help

on my s14, iTook some pliers and bent the hole in the sheetmetal back a bit so that the piping would fit through there, iThink it`s what you`re supposed to do pretty much. Also though, iPut a towel in between the piping and the sheetmetal so the intake wouldnt get slowly sawed open.ive heard things about the resonator being useless and maf connection being criticial on an s13 intake, so make sure you`ve got the maf connected good. the useless resonator is the big opening on the passenger side of the intake, near the throttle body/intake mani and on the underside of the pipe.
