how to install autometer water temp gauge

im sure this is a noob question i just bought a water temp gauge and have no idea where to install it at on my redtop if anyone could help or send me to another thread with pics i would greatly appreciate it thx :P

i also want to keep my stock one working in my dash but i just want to keep a closer eye on my temp anyone know?

it should give you direction with the gauge, but ither not always the best, is it mechanical or electrical?

its mechanical with the big thermostat on the end of teh wire and like 2 fittings and teh directions were garbage didnt show wehre to place at all
