Awesome thanks a lot, but it does work for the SR too and not just Subies?

Come on guys, give me more credit than that . I have four wheel chocks on the car at this point, one in front of, and one behind each rear wheel. I always do that, even when changing the oil. I chock both wheels, opposite of whatever side of the car I'm working on, in front of and behind the tire. So when I change the oil and jack up the front of the car, I have both rear wheels chocked, on both sides of the tire. I'm paranoid about jacks, jackstands, wheel chocks, etc. Always have been.

Pretty sure it came with the gauge. Summit Racing can help you out though.

That's what I was wondering too. I thought I was going to have to hunt this part down but if it's included with the gauge then I'm set! +1 for providing this information!

Welcome. I can't remember though, so if not Summit Racing has a ton of adapters and should be able to find one for you.

sorry to bring up an old thread but would this work on the SR20DET ? Would be nice because I plan on installing an oil pressure gauge soon and always hated the spot where Nissan put the oil filter. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...le:us With all the lines, would that effect the accuracy or the gauge's readings?

, yeah it will work on an SR20DET. That kit won't affect the gauge's accuracy. Just make sure that the sensor will fit the adapter first.

This a NPT threaded hose too...National pipe thread will not work on the block...Nissan is BSPT British Standard Pipe Thread..All auometer stuff is NPT..You could just strip the NPT threads in your block with some teflon tape though....

I want to run a hose of the oil sender hole too..Somewhere near my firewall.

That's what I did. I ran a copper line to another distribution block, and ran both the stock idiot light, and the oil pressure sending unit off that. The speed/response time is a little sluggish and doesn't update as fast... But I don't have to worry about all that weight hanging off one brass fitting.. I'll get some pics for you guys shortly.

Good work though. I love pictures.
I'm wanting to do this too...where did you locate the parts for this setup?

Does the oil sending unit care what position it is in? Up, down, 90 deg sideways, something else?

My oil sending unit is screwed into a relocation kit at a 90 degree angle and I have no problems.

They do have a BUNCH of adaptors at summit, i definitely appreciate the headsup on that as my sender didn't come with one. But im digging up this old thread wondering whether anyone knows the thread size of the stock sensor? I don't know which adaptor to order cause theres a million different sizes and they all sound weird.

Okay after searching high and low for hours, i didn't find s***!Summit doesn't have them! So don't waster 2 hours on their site trying!!Anyways i tried google and turbo parts and all sorts of stuff. Nothing

Then i posted my dislike of the situation on my facebook status, and one of my OG 240 friends was like "We used to run NISsport adapters on ours, don't know if they're still around" So bam i go to their website and what would you know? Chillin right on the 240sx page. Oil Pressure gause sending unit adapter. With 1/8 bpst on the male and female end, and three 1/8 npt ports that you can use for gauge, or turbo lines, etc. Also comes with 2 plugs in case you don't use all the holes. And its not brass or aluminum, stainless steel motherf***ers! PERFECT!!
