Hi WillyRogue... I sure don't want to try and discourage you... and I admire your courage to undertake such a project! But... as
philipa_240sx has alluded to... I'm afraid, based on your questions, this amp install may be a little over your head. In addition to things like the rated wattage / Watts (power) you also need to consider things like amperage (current - Amps) and what cabling you will need to handle the calculated load as well as sufficient grounding. Wiring the components into the existing system also requires you to understand factors like impedance values so you can wire the speakers correctly depending on whether you are installing a Mono system, 2 Channel, 4 Channel etc, or if you will need to bridge the load etc. Ideally you should match the rated power of the amp to the sub. Unfortunately, considering the complexity of the install, combined with your level of experience, it would be near impossible for any of us to step you through the entire installation. That said, there are some good tools available online that can help.
To start... check out these online videos that take you through and amplifier and subwoofer installation at a high level:

Also, as
philipa_240sx indicated... you will need a subwoofer or different speakers as the stock speakers will not handle the amp output.

As to the wiring of your amp and speakers check out this link. It has 3 columns of data depending on what type of amp you have (Mono, 2 channel, 4 channel) and impedance value of your system.

Last... for a novice like yourself (or even an experienced installer) I
HIGHLY suggest purchasing an output converter (or at a minimum) a wiring harness adapter. These aftermarket options GREATLY simplify adding equipment to your vehicle as well as reduce the complexity of wire spicing into the existing wiring system.

Maybe something as simple as a case of beer might encourage one of your more technical friends to do the installation for you
