Could someone inform me on how to change the PCV valve on my 95 240? Also, where would the old be located on my vehicle? :help

Is it in between the middle two pipes of the intake manifold?

I've just looked bwtween my intake manifold and can't determine what hose I need to remove to find the old part. Could you tell me where the hose is facing?

It looks like towards the front of the engine. It's got to be there!

I have a 90 and it has one. I just was trying to help by finding you a picture of it, but I am not sure of anything else! The pictures came from somewhere that said they were from 95. So they should show you exactly where it should be on your car!

It's in the same place. Take off the alternator and you can't miss it. It's a pain in the *** to take off any other way. I HIGHLY reccoment removing the alternator.

The PCV valve on the 90 is on the side of the intake box (with the ECCS letters on it). There will be a black hose attached to it and you'll notice it looks like the new one you bought.

The coolant temp sensor is just to the left and in front of where your accelerator cable attaches. You'll see two things sticking up out of the block and this one is the one on the right. The other thing there is the coolant gauge sensor.

Got it at Discount Auto parts (AKA-Advance Auto). The sensor is easy to replace. I used a socket to get the old one off and the new one back on. Your problem may be the gauge sensor which, not to make you feel stupid, controls the gauge in your car. The other sensor, from what I was told controls the "5th injector" as my mechanic called it--it puts a little extra gas in when you go to start if it's colder than 70 degrees out.

No. When I did mine, I barely lost a couple drops of coolant.

That would probably be a good idea! As long as it is not up at running temp you should be fine!

There is a coolant temp sensor and a coolant gauge sensor. That is why your gauge still worked.

It would not leak any coolant as this thing gets screwed into the block and there is an electrical connector (that he is talking about) that hooks on to it.
