First off, the coil shouldve come with directions and the msd ignition has the wiring chart on the back. otherwise their website or phone # is extremely helpful. but since you're probably lazy being you just straight up asked here, i'll fill ya in. 1. make sure the blaster coil is in an upright position, since its liquid filled and you do not want detonation. i think where the coil wire goes is obvious, and the positive and ground wires go on either side, easy to figure out. oh and dont forget to take out your old coil/ignition. i took the bracket that used to house that and bent it up and screwed/ziptied my blaster2 there, only good spot i found to make it 100% upright.2. i mounted the msd ignition under my intake filter, easy stuff. i have the SCI-L. anyway, the wiring chart is pretty simple, it has an output for the tach and everything. i just leave the 7000rpm plug in there, you really dont need to change it, and if you do, make it lower for testing but it does have 2-step capabilities i believe. anyway, you have to take apart the dizzy to get the wires you'll need to connect it, im sure that's where you're stuck. thats where i was stuck for a few minutes before i decided to call up msd and ask them on the spot. they walked me right through it, took all of 45 minutes to connect everything. i was stuck for literally 5 minutes before i picked up the phone, and i was done within 10 minutes of the phone call.anyway, my advice, call them, the number is on the instructions sheet that came with either one, or on their website.
oh, and since you said you have an msd ignition, i didnt bother to mention that if you're hooking up the blaster coil to a stock ignition, you would need a ballast resister, i think it was .08ohm? something like that. anyway, easy stuff. lemme know how it works out for ya.is it on a basically rather stock 240 ka? lemme know if you feel any difference (esp. high revs) i was always curious if it really helps if you're not boosting.
