how to install a CAS 92 Q

i need a little help on install a crank angle sensor on my 92 Q .i know how to remove it i just need to know how to time it and what ever anyone can tell me aboutit that might help me one this project .

youll have ot get yourself a timing light... Stick it in there so its close, leave the bolts kinda loose so you can still turn it a little, and then bust the timing light out and retime the motor...

Theres an article on Q45.org on how to retime the motor... It takes about 5 mins.

i just put it in and did not time it but it ran until i wormed up .... i checked the ecu got code 17-34 knock and tcs .... whats up with that

The slot on CAS will allow the setting of ignition advance from -30 to about +15 degrees..........................it must be set at -15 [+-2] degrees for the ecu to function properly.

background 92 q 120,000 miles no cats . intake . new coils & plugs. new transmission

the car runs and it feels fine ..... until it worms up and then it has no power and then it back firesbut i don't think that the crank angle sensor is what is wrong with the car. i don't know what is happen.................. i need help......... i am a won-ta be mechanic i cant do his alone

i did not see any slot to advance timing ...unless i have to open it .......i got codes when i check it 16 - 34 . but maybe i am getting the knock code is because of the back fire

jsut get a timing light, any inductive timing light will work....

why would it run fine until it worms up ..... i just do not understand. its exactly when hit half way

and yes i do have tcs i though all Q do..... i have the button
