Godspeed radiator
Godspeed IC
Godspeed IC piping
Megan Coilovers
3" Turbo back Megan exhaust
Short throw shifter
HKS BOV
Greddy knock off intake manifold
Brand new eagle forged rods
the car still needs body work and i need to hide wires that are visible. Im still new to the whole car scene and i recently got into it about six months ago so i am a newb at all this. i have been reading alot of stuff on different forums and i am open to any comments or suggestions to apparently save my new car.

I dunno why everyone is hating. The car looks like a good starting point.

Nothing is necessarily wrong... Your sentence phrasing just made it sound like you simply starting slapping on parts that already should have been there without any idea what you were doing.

But since this was all done by the previous owner, I'd recommend finding someone in your area very familiar with SR's and have them help you make sure its running right and whether its been tuned yet. You said you replaced the turbo... Depending on what turbo it is, you probably need a tune and maybe some fuel delivery mods. But who knows? We're getting so little info here...

I actually am giving the car a tune up an I am replacing the rotors and brakes for it because they so worn down but I appreciate the advice but the turbo that's there seems small and I'm not so sure about the manufacturer. My Nissan buddies said that I needed a bigger turbo if this is the case what should I get. Money is not an issue here. But really I don't want to get ahead of myself with getting a new turbo.

If you get a bigger turbo you'll need different inter cooler piping, oil lines, etc. Learn about turbo sizes and different kinds of turbo's. If you don't know what you're doing, i highly recommend you research instead of listening to your buddies.

If you want to get better performance, start off by scrapping all of the Godspeed junk thats on there. If your eventually going to upgrade the turbo getting a better IC setup will be a good start. I recently saved a 240sx with a rb20 from its previous owner and have spent a majority of the build so far just doing damage control from all the cheap "godspeed-esq" Chinese junk he poorly bolted on. Its not even a matter of supporting the big name brads (ie HKS, greddy, apexi, blitz, etc), the quality is simply subpar on the godspeed stuff and will not last ultimatly costing you more money and time, had you just simply done it right the first time.

But like people have said, take it to a SR specialist, have it checked out. Then determine what your power goals, etc are and start doing research. After all of the maintenance and R&D is taken care of you car will have improved performance. Only then is it reasonable to continue on with upgrading power.

HEY! thats my friends old car (I had partial owner ship). Guys take it easy on him. He really is completely new to the entire scene. (notice the name of the photo bucket album thats how you know it used to be my car :chuckle:) It is a great car I missed it as soon as I heard the blow off valve dump leaving when your dad drove it away. :frown:

^^^Oh great... OP, ask this guy what turbo you have on the car, if it's been tuned and by who. Doing a tune up is not what I meant by saying see if its been tuned...

But the car doesn't sound too bad as a budget project. Just alot of unknowns...

Wish I could have just jumped into a SR'd Zenki with a money-no-object attitude when I was "new to the scene."

Yea, I'm really confused as to why everyone is being d!ck.

OP, godspeed IC and piping will hold up. Just be careful with companies like that when you need more complex parts, like turbos, coilovers, etc.

^^^Stock turbo? Well, thats good to know. At least now the OP knows what he's dealing with and should be able to tell what the car is capable of in its current form.

Help me out guys... I'm not too comfy differentiating s13 SR's from S14 SR's, but it looks to me like the OP has an S13 SR thats been swapped into his S14. If thats the case, the factory turbo would be the T25. Familiarize yourself with the performance limits of the T25, set some goals and go from there. At this point, theres plenty you can do to improve performance.
