Hi,

Been trying like the devil to get my hand up under the dash to replace the two green brake pedal bump stops.

Am I missing something? Does one have to take the lower dash piece and and A/C / vent piece off to get to the brake pedal area where the two green bump stops are?

(both of my bump stops got old, cracked, and fell off and now the brake lights don't turn off).

Perhaps I need skinnier hands?

Please advise with any tricks to tips you may have.

Thanks!

The brake switch is engaged in the up position, so plunger stop has to be installed with he brake pedal depressed or the brake light switch removed. As for reaching up there, you should be able to feel your way up the brake pedal pretty easily. When my clutch plunger stop broke I could sit in the driver's seat and press the plunger with my hand while starting the car. I'm 6'3" with normalish size arms.

Thanks, that's what a thought (that its a pain). I replace the clutch bump stop pretty easily, its the brake pedals ones that are causing the pain. I'm going to attempt my third attack at them this evening.
