How to hook up sub and amp to stock I35 head unit?

How would I go about adding a sub and amp to a stock i35 head unit. its a 12" Alpine with a pioneer amp. How would I wire it? Thanks

Get something like a PAC AOEM-NIS2 as it gives you RCA outputs and remote switch.

I tried taking the pre-amp sub cables. The Remote turn on worked fine but how would i go about with the rc cables??? I tried just cutting them and attaching the pre-amp to the cut rc cables. I know I didn't do it right. How would I fix it. and is there anyway to do it without pulling out the headunit to add that thing u told me to get??

Dont cut the rca cables. Install it before the factory amp(right behind the factory head unit. And you will have to remove the head unit to install it.
