between headlights, efans, interior blower and a/c my idle gets pretty low, 500-600ish with noticeably more vibration. i have a quest alternator i'm going to put in to help with the electronics but i want to get the a/c idle devices working. I though it was just the one connected to the intake manifold in the middle above the fuel rail, but recently I thought I saw the peice by the throttle with the fat vacuum hoses that connect to intake, and it has a wiring harness plug on it too. Is this supposed to help with idle too when a/c is on? do these features automatically work or do they need to be played with? how can you test them?

thanks!

Sorry for the off topic question but how do you plan on getting the quest alt. to fit? Custom mounting brackets?
