how to go about converting high beams to hid?

does anyone know how i can do this? i looked at the bulb sizes and the lows are h11 and highs are h9. so do i have to change both to something else or what?

You only have bo buy an HID kit for the High Beams. I thought about doing this to my high beams, but with HID's what you have to remember is that when you hit the switch for high beams it will take a while to get FULL brightness. Take for exmaple that someone cuts you off at night and you honk at them and flip your high beams. It will take a while before the high beams get to full BRIGHT BLAST because the bulb has to heat up. Hope you understand or just doing it to get HID's for high beams. But yeah you can only get the HID kit for the high beams. Definetly a good point ricky, I didn't think of that . But then again unless they're turning a second or two after they cut you off im pretty sure theyll be fired up in time unless your hids are different then mine. That would be a sweet mod though maybe put like either 5000k bright white ones or ive seen 10,000k before and they're eye blinding.
