how to get rid of minor scratches on body? and scratches on rims?

I got two damages on my carminore scratches on body surface.

scratches on 2 rims (even yellow paint from the curve is remained on one of them)

Is there any way to get rid of them? Somebody mentioned about the buffing job to get rid of the scratches on the body. They are not clearly visible unless I look at it closely ( it is like a thin string). But the scratches on the rims make me very sad every time I look at them,,,

3m makes two excellent products but it depends on how bad (how much $$) you want to remove the scratches. They are approx $25-35 and only found at automotive paint supply stores

They are designed for buffers but I have used them by hand with excellent results.

First, use Perfect-it III extra cut rubbing compound followed by Perfect-it 3000 Ultrafina SE.

The rubbing compound will remove the scratches and the Ultrafina will remove the haze left by the rubbing compound.

finish with a good wax/polish.

A good series of polishes, sealants with acrylic fillers and a glaze will minimize scratches.
