Sup peeps,

Just a few days ago I've noticed that on one of my wheels (sportmax 002) clear coat started peeling off. So the questions is there anyway to get this thing fixed without resurfacing the whole rim? I know if I want to polish it, I'm gonna have to remove the clear coat with an air craft remover or something like that but in that case I'm gonna have to do all 4, and I'm too lazy to do thatbecause the other 3 are just fine. Have any of you done anything like this before? BTW this is polished aluminum lip, I would really appreciate if someone could give me some steps in order to remove those scuffs. Thanks.

You could try wet sanding, but really something that minimal I wouldn't worry too much about.

Wet sand wont work. The clear coat on these wheels is garbage.

Gotta peel the rest and respray.

kinda. They were all fine except one started peeling really bad. On the lip.Like yours, but in big a$$ chunks.

I said "ef if" and just painted them white.

ya that's sportmax for you lol

it's not big deal though, I was just wondering, I'll probably wait till the whole thing peels off so they will match haha
