how to get oil pan out

I unbolted oil pan and I unbolted bolts from motor mounts from the top and what do i do next.Can I lift the motor from the bottom and how to get that oil pan out do I have to unbolt enithing else need help fast

you have to lift it from above, there's no jack point on the motor outside of the oil pan, and that's obviously not going to work, in addition to being kind of a bad idea in the first place.

stop what yer doin, rent a hoist for an afternoon, lift it a bit. unbolt the mounts at the subframe, not the engine - keep them on the motor if you can.

You can lift the motor from the transmission. That's what I did, just don't hoist it too much. It easier to get the oil pan out if you unbolt the sway bar.

yea i jacked it up from the bellhousing. unbolt the sway bar before u try to get the pan out. when the pan is loose un bolt the two bolt holding the oil pick up in the pan, you'll see. tricky part was un sticking it from the blcok cuz of the rtv. then putting it back on without messing up the rtv
