First off it is not a real R34 it is considered a kit car. The company Kaizo Industries manufactures a unibody that follows DOT standards. The unibody also comes with a 12 digit U.S. Vin number. Then comes the hard part finding the RB26DETT and 6spd Getrag transmission. The rest of the parts are easy such as the interior, suspension, brakes, etc. I found a really good deal on the engine and transmission at jazzproparts.com for $4,000.00 If you get lucky enough to call when they have one in stock that is the best deal around. It can be registered in any state!!!

At those prices, why not go for the new GTR instead? Better performance, warranty, etc...
