How do I get a R32 from Canada to US

I have a friend that is going to being his R32 GTR to Arizona and I am going to buy it off him. I was just wonder how people in Arizona have street legal skylines. I would like to know the best way to do this and have it be legal.

there not legal, only motorex skylines r legal, you could buddy up to someone at a tow yard so they can get you a title but that will go on to the us govt hot list and youll be geting a letter shortly. idk up to but it could end up pricey

Unless its a motorex vehicle like Sullivan said then it is going to be a grey market vehicle. There is an article on nico all about the skyline and the importing and what not very good info in it. Also your friend will be lucky to get it across the canada border to the us period. I was buying a r32 sedan and they would not let him cross with the car even tho he said he was just going over here for other purposes when he was going to just have a friend pick him up over here to take him home after he dropped the car off at the shipper. They have wisened up quiet a bit and I would not try doing this at all unless it is indeed a motorex car. Be like us and wait till 2014 when they can be imported as antiques

Tell your friends to expect a call regarding him not bringing his Skyline back to Canada...since doing what you guys are planning is not only one of the many illegal ways to "import" a Skyline to the US, I do believe it's also the way that's had the most people actually arrested for it.
