Okay so there's a 91ish coupe that has been sitting up the street from my house, I am led to believe that something is wrong with it because it is illegally parked and it has bunches of tickets (just one) on it. The tag is good and the inspection stickers are good. but i want it does anyone know how to claim an abandonded car or knows how to find out who owns it using the vin and/or tag#

You can call the DMV and tell them that the car is for sale but you saw it drive by and the only thing you could write down was the license plate. They should give you an address or phone.

yea i kind of had the same response..btw i was checkin out your car brit.. very nice i like the no-carpet doors and the cf hatch look. my car has white doors from my old 240 and flat black fenders and 91 bumper, but the rest is gloss black (a little bit of MJ syndrome)

Haha! Nice! And thanks...the hatch isn't CF look though, it's just a hatch from a grey 240, I assume the previous owner didn't want the factory spoiler and the corresponding rust that comes with it...but a CF hatch would be mad sexy!

i've seen a few... but for ridiculous amounts of money, and they are so fragile.. so you might be better off with the cf look anyway. My hatch has holes in it from the wing that was yanked off well i'm getting the car painted soon - can't wait till it's all one color

Good priorities. This is why I don't even have a CF hood or the sexy-a$$ headlight covers yet...but in due time!
