I get smell of gasoline from my car and I found grease stains on the ground so I think the tank is leaking. IS there any cheap temporary but effective way to fix the problem?

Well one thing i've done before on one of my trucks is a toggle bolt with a washer on the head of the bolt. Then put jb weld on the washer and put the toggle bolt up in the hole with the washer being pressed against the tank by the head of the bolt. Then tighten the bolt. It'll make a good seal and be plenty tight. And jb weld is some great stuff. The hole will have to be on a flat surface though...And if the hole isn't big enough you'll have to drill a little. But toggle bolts do come pretty small. So thats one way I know that works.
