Hey guys, I just found a very easy way to fix the common "driver" side hole problem.

Ever noticed you can always find good passenger seats but only bad driver's seats?

Well, you can buy an extra passenger seat and just unbolt the passenger seat and use the driver's seats brackets and sliders and you are set (both passenger side and driver side is built symmetrically).

I just found this out when I was stripping the seats and selling my passenger side.

Hope that helps some people out there.

That's why you use the driver's side parts!

I'm talking about buying passenger seat. Take it apart so you only have the 2 seat parts (seat and backrest).

Then you take apart your current driver's seat. Use the metal brackets, sliders, etc.

The seats are symmetrical, that's why you can bolt up the metal parts.

basicl;y when they build the seats, they mass produce all parts, then they put em together, and drill holes in the seats to be put together as driver OR passenger.. he is saying jus to take the seat components and replace them with the old ones

I did that with my s13 seats before I upgraded to the S14's -a definite improvement, since the passenger seat is used much less, it feels much newer...you just swap the cushions that bolt to the bottom and backrest rails

the easiest way to fix a broken driver seat back is to take the passenger seat back off and put it on the driver side. I just make my wife and son sit in the back. LOL The seat backs are held on with four bolts, two on each side. You just have to pry the seat covering up to get to the bolts, because like PhaneSoul said they mass produce the seats. This is an easy and zero dollar fix, besides who needs a passenger when you're trying to kick an SS's A$$.
