The flasher unit is buried under the dash on the driver's side of the car. I replaced mine with a load-independent model when I finished up my LED tail light project so it wouldn't blink fast as it's designed to when a bulb is out. It is a b**** to dig it out and I ended up zip-tying it to the steering column so I wouldn't have to dig it out again in the future. You will have to remove the intstrument cluster to gain access to it, btw.

Why do you need to replace it?
