MADE A CUSTOM SHORT INTAKE USING TUBES FROM SPECTURE and the filter is touching the body and it vibrates so what is the best way to fasten it and not look ghetto ie zip ties or any thing

back in the day i used mirror mounts from a semi bent to shape, it's round chrome tubing with flattened ends with bolt holes. that might be expensive if you can't "borrow" it from your company shop though you can go to home depot and look at hangers for wood constuction, i can't remember the numbers but there's different ones that are just a flat long piece of steel with nail holes that you can bend to shape.

hey man sorry to post a question on this thread, but my question seemed to fit in. The people with the place racing style cold air intake are you guys having a vibration problem? Because ever since I took the thick weather stripping off the intake pipe that touched the body it has been making that metal to metal bouncing sound.

Nice work man with the intake...that was really creative.
