There it is, right on top of the phonebook list. VoiceMail.

But, how can a number be entered that also has the pause(s) and then an access code. Such as: 800-555-1234p<accesscode> where 'p' (for pause like in a cell phone) could also be a 'w' (for wait) or some other character. I have cingular and it uses '*' for the pause but the Infiniti phonebook doesn't recognize the '*' or '#' characters as pauses, even though they appear in the list 0123456789*#.

Anybody figured that one out?

Usually, the lower left keey (*) will create a pause in dialing situations. Give that a try.

No way, Jose. One of the real shortcomings on the M phone system. I need to use the stored numbers in my phone and dial by the handset. Other annoying shortcomings:

1. Phone use (or any other VR use - Nav, etc.) does not "pause" audio cd/dvd's.

2. Recall of dialed numbers does not store numbers entered by VR. They show up as blanks!

3. No way to enter numbers while in a call (again must be done via handset).

4. Memory positions are short. Some international numbers will not fit.

5. Can't scan phonebook entries past 1st 5 manually while driving (unless you do the Nav hack).

OTOH, at least it works every time as designed and at volume levels I can predict for tone dials, etc., which is more than I could ever say about my E500 phone system...
