I'm saving for an ECU chip from the UK but in the mean time I want to eliminate this with a zener diode (just like the MR2 guys do).I've tested about 5 kinds of diodes but none of them work or will eliminate FC! I've measured at the AFM that FC begins as low as 4.8 volts, so I first bought a 4.7 volt diode but it doesn't rev past 3500 rpms and noticed that the voltage of the AFM could not get past 3.6 volts!!So I bought a few higher diodes (5.1v, 6.2v) neither work!! Is there any other way to do this correctly? What should the volt and watt be on the diode?
I've also tried the HKS FCD but it doesn't work on my car, the car won't rev past a certain rpm.
I hope someone can help!thanks.
