How to drop cross memeber?

I need to rebuild my rack and pinion and was able to find a diy for it but cant find a diy on how top drop cross member on my 1990 na.
Can someone point me out to a diy that explain on how to do this?
Ill be replacing oil pan gasket too.

I just did this also. I pulled my trans first then I removed the plenum and bought a jig from harbor freight and it worked great, it held my engine up for a little over a month. I suggest you wrap the chain around the exhaust manifolds if you are still using the cast iron OEM manifolds.

Then after that I just unbolted the subframe as your normally would and left the coilovers attached to the subframe.

Its pretty straight forward, just kinda labor intensive.

Yeah, I used a engine crane from harbor freight to support the motor and un-did the motor mounts and pulled all the suspension. Though I did it the long way when I pulled each individual suspension piece.
