If you use the search button on the top of the screen you will find tons of detail.

What is it that you need to do to your brakes?Just replacing pads? Or do you need to replace your rotors? Do you need to recondition your calipers? I need more specific info on what your questions are.

I'll assume you just want to replace your pads. Here is a very short crash course. 1.) Jack up the car. 2.) remove the wheel. 3.) loosen the bolts on the back of the caliper4.) remove the caliper. 5.) remove old pads from caliper 6.) check condition of metal clips 7.) put in new pads into the clips and then get them into the caliper properly. 8.) open brake fluid bleeder and spread pads apart. 9.) put loaded caliper back onto the rotor. 10.) close bleeder11.) replace bolts to tighten down the caliper. 12.) put wheel back on. 13.) top off brake fluid reservior under hood. 14.) pump brakes numerous times to regain pressure and feel. 15.) drive away.

Same for rear wheels.. except you will need a needle-nose pliers or a special tool to twist the caliper pistons back open. Rear brakes are strage like that..

The rotors are easy as well. Just remove two more bolts that hold on the caliper brace. The rotors just pull right off and then you put the new ones in their place.

As long as your calipers don't look to be leaking fluid they should be fine. Just give them a good visual inspection.

just put some nevercease on the bolt threads to make it easier to loosen the bolts next time you change them. oh PB Blaster is your friend for the bolts.

sometimes the rotors need a little assistance from a hammer to be removed from the hub, lol. I had quite a bit of rust holding mine on.

Get yourself a breaker bar and the above mentioned PB blaster to get the caliper brace bolts off... they will be tight!!
