I am thinking about replacing my coolant and attempting to replace my in-cabin air filter

Do you guys have experience doing that?

In cabin filter... I think I did it once and it was in a strange place. I'm having a hard time remembering where it is located. The owner's manual doesn't tell you anything about where it is. I'm going to go dig up the service manual for you.

As far as coolant is concerned, how many miles do you have on your coupe?

Here is a link to the service manual - if you dig around through there, you should find the step-by-step process on how to do the maintenance of each of the things you posted about.

On my '10 the filter slot is behind & directly to the left of the glove box. The vertical slot is approx. 1"w x 8"h, filter compartment parallel to the firewall; but the filter itself is 11"x11". It was a PIA changing. First, I broke the catch on the access door removing it. everythingnissan.com has replacements for about $2, but I didn't even bother, it's not visible & the filter is not going anywhere. Next, I ended up removing the glove box to make access & install easier b/c the new filter was such a tight fit. Maybe b/c I bought an upgraded Fram instead of the standard & I think it is thicker, but probably b/c the filter is larger than the opening. It kept bending & resisting going in. By trial & error, I ended up compressing the center to make an hourglass shape & finessing it in, lead edge one corner @ a time. Maybe that's why the stealership wanted over $100 to replace w/a crappy OEM $9.99 filter. The Fram was $15. Make sure the tab is sticking outward for when it's time to remove. If you want to spend $50 maybe the K&N is more rigid thus easier to install. It's supposed to be reusable, so it may be cost effective. I'll probably get one when the FRAM gets dirty. I have a K&N filter on my Injen short ram & it's a high quality product.
