I have just started taking my s13 ka apart and I am stuck. Could someone post some info, diagrams, etc... I plan to build it up for 500 hp. I would also like some suggestions on which internals are best, also how stroke can the block handle(2.7, 3.0). Iwant to take it completely apart to assure everything is perfect. Much appreciated

I think u should stick with sr's. why would you ever try to bore a 2.4l to a 3.0?

Oh shoot I totally missed the part about you wanting to stroke the engine and stuff.

In that case let me direct you to a thread that is flying around here for last couple days.

Okay I waited around on you go to help me with disassembly. It took me about 2 hours to disassemble it today and yes this was the first day of this post. Now comes the hard part. I AM ptretty much a virgin to engines. I did do a transmission and engine swap with someone, but other than that, just taking this engine apart. I sell cars, now I want to know how to work on them, especially mine. But now to the next step, need your best suggestions for needed parts for a 500 hp build. Cams, pulleys, pistons, rods, maf, injectors, oil cooler, turbo kit(t61?), prper suspension, motor mounts, main and rod bearings etc.............With the turbo what A/R is recommended?

If you don't go with the stroker kit contact AMS Performance, they got what you need to build a rock hard KA.

The stock KA already has such a long stroke....why would you want to push that even further?
