I'm downloading "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb" (slowly) because I actually bought "All That You Cant Leave Behind" and it was crap, complete and utter crap. What do you guys think of U2's new album?

I think i stopped caring all together what U2 did after seeing boner, er bobo, dern i mean bono wearing those semi-reflective, colored fashion sunglasses. Their old stuff still rocks though.

In a related story, I was at Disney Land in late October, I think (mainly there for the Ben Folds concert at the El Ray Theater) and Bono walked right by mey girlfriend and I. I said "Is that Bono?" Turns out it was him walking with some blonde girl through the exit gate into Disney Land. I guess Bono doesn't have to pay admission.

U2 is definitely .."meh"

I love their 80's stuff though. I'm still irked that the stupid ipod commericial with the Vertigo song starts off with him counting in spanish: "1,2,3....14!"

har har..

I like the new album better than All That You Can't Leave Behind. Think Achtung Baby with slighty better Clayton bass and slighty worse Edge guitar.

lost me after under a blood red sky. Bono is too busy hugging trees to make good music anymore. I'd rather play Brittany Spears backwards and listen for sucking sounds.

There's a couple of U2 songs I like (Just What I needed, some other one I can't think of the name of that sounds a lot like Just What I Needed). Other than that, I never really liked them much. I haven't heard any of their new album.

"new years day" and "bloody sunday" are classic songs, you can keep the rest of that garbage.

Oh man, I thought that this was going to be a thread about real Atomic bombs .

I think you should post up directions on how to make a real atomic bomb. That would be funny. Make sure that someone is videotaping you for the next 48Hrs though. Because surely the FBI/CIA would bust yo a$$ for "conspiering to commint terrorlst acts".

Oh and BTW, U2 has gone way down hill.

I'll take Led Zepplin, Heart, and/or Pat Benatar anyday over U2.

I've always only been able to "take" about 1 U2 song a day, and then I'm done with them.
