I just bought a new battery, charging system and starter tester. Instruction state inorder to check the starter first disable the ignition so the engine will not start. What is the easiest way to prevent engine from starting when turning the starter / engine over for testing? I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan.

What he said!

Pull fuse
Start engine and let run until it stalls from no gas
Then do your test
