Please use the search feature!

Basic steps are apply heat to badges, use some dental floss between them and the sticky stuff (not sticky stuff and paint), clean off sticky stuff and you're done.

I was thinking of placing additional badges just behind each rear porthole window to break up the lines a bit...

Am I dope?

You beat me to it Marisha...Yes Please use the search button. It's the blinking red "Search" button at the top of the page.

To answer your question, I used a heat gun on a low heat setting and used a credit card to pry up the emblems. Then used goo gone for the schticky schtuff! Then I quickly washed the area and waxed it.

You need a flat head screw driver, sandpaper, industrial adhesive remover and a paint repair kit.

1. First off you jam the screwdriver behind the badge and smack it with your palm. Be carful you don’t remove too much paint.

Just joking, all you need is waxed dental floss and you might need some goo gone. I didn’t. Make sure you take is easy with the floss and move it in sawing motion behind the badge with a little pressure. If there is anything left over on your trunk use the sticky part of the badge that you removed to take it off. It really sticks to its self. It’s better to leave it for a warm day or let the sun heat up your trunk.

And how exactly does it mess up your CC? Goo Gone is citrus base. Heck LA rain is more acidic than Goo Gone

Peanut butter also takes off the stickiness too!

Marisha is right, they came that way. XXR type 006 in Red. Surmanm had his OEM wheels painted to match his coupe. Might want to shoot him out an email or PM.

i think i used wd40 on the extra glue, and also used dental floss and a blow dryer.

The burger was hard as heck to get off.

Id be afraid to use goo gone, that stuff is toxic.

why did u leave the burger?

the only reason i can think of there still being a ghost there is if you waited a year or so after the paint has cured, and has been sun beaten...

I used dental floss and the rolling finger technique to get the extra tape off the car. Simple and safe!

I just parked the rear of my car facing the sun and let it sit for five minutes. Then dental flossed them off with no problem. Had a little residue that I dabbed with Goo Gone and all was fine. Texas sun 2 strong
