Ok, I am going to buy the earl fittings, already have a long 10 an line I will cut.

2 Questions:

1) How should I cut the line so it doesn't serrate & stuff? I was thinking putting masking/painter's tape accross the area to be cut & saw it. Then unwrap the tape & proceed w/ whatnot.

2) What is the procedure to put the ear fitting onto the open end of the hose?

THANKS!

I was lazy and had a speed shop do it. They didn`t charge me anything since I bought stuff from them before. You can`t use a hack saw because I tried that.

I cut my 10an line with a hacksaw. I just wrapped the part I cut a few times with electrical tape and then cut.

When I put my fittings on, I put some engine oil on the rubber part.
