How to connect a prestone coolant flush kit on 03 M45?

Hi, I would like to flush the old coolant and refill new one on my M45 (130k on it). There is a kit from Prestone and a couple of videos on Youtube. I still don't get which hoses I should connect to the kit for this DIY.

Here is the instruction I don't understand.

Two heater hoses extend from the fire wall to the engine, in both front and rear wheel drive vehicles. Hose #1 runs from fire wall to water pump. Hose #2 runs from fire wall to top of engine. This is the heater inlet hose. Ask a qualified mechanic if uncertain.


If anyone can show me a picture of the hose on a M45 engine, it will be great.
