No bolts on backside of the compressor housing?

If not just unbolt the turbine housing and clock the whole thing.

Loosen the bolts on the exhaust housing and rotate it until desired position, just a little wee fella eh?

Check if there is a snap ring on the compressor housing. If it's there, just remove it, clock your turbo to whatever position, and reinstall the ring.

If you clock that thing, you will need to probably make a custom bracket to hold your wastegate actuator.

Oh yeah, I just took apart a T25 the other day, it took me and my roommate, and a big *** pair of needle nosed pliers to get that thing off, it sucked! What kind of turbo is that anyway? Doesn't look like an SR T25.

will that turbo even be worth putting on?

I remember my buddy turbo'd his SIR Honda with something like that..he was running like 5 psi of boost, made hardly any difference. His was a show car, so he didn't really care.

I wonder if that will be the same, what kinda power will that thing put down?

If 5 psi of boost didnt make a difference your buddy was either oblivious to the seat dyno or had a horrible tune. Cheap turbos for show cars? FFS how gay can you get.

Hope that was a joke. I love honda's, the older ones are cool as hell. EF's, EG's, EK's, DC2's, they are all cool cars to me.Back on topic though, If you rotate the bearing housing while keeping the compressor and turbine housing in the same relation to each other, you can use the same wastegate bracket. But i would have to agree with everyone else. That turbo looks rediculously small.

Anyways I don't know exactly how much boost it was pushing.

My MAIN POINT was how ridiculously tiny that turbo is, and was it even going to make a noticeable HP difference.

The only way I'd add that turbo to a 240 is if I was using it along with another for a set of twins.

Next time you're out, go to Harbor Freight and get a set of snap ring pliars

Well, the SR turbo isn't what I'd call LOTS better. If you have this one already you'd better of using it unless you can sell it and buy the SR one for close to the same price.

This turbo will really start to be a restriction at 4000 rpm till redline.

If I had lots of injector and a decent tune I'd run that turbo without the wastegate hooked up. Probably make like 15-17 psi then die off as rpm creeps up. Down to like 5-6 psi by 6500...

Could be fun if you're willing to risk it...lol. I would

Werd, spoken by a true player... lol

If your motor is in good shape, do it. Your ringlands will pop before you toss a rod. Lesson learned, and you can rebuild for some bulletproof stuff. It's cheap now since the aftermarket scene has made itself a bit wider for the KA's.

I'll burn you some chips if you get a board.. :P
