How to clock the turbo?

Before posting this I tried using the search option but I came up sort. My question is how does one go about clocking the turbo. I only need to rotate it about a 1/4 turn so I will not have any clearence issues with my manifold and outlet flange. It's a gti r t28 if that is needed to know.

There are bolts that attach the compressor housing and the exhaust housing to the center section, simply losen those bolts and you'll be able to turn either housing the way you need it. Although it may be a problem if it's an internal wastegate type of turbo. The wastegate actuator may not move.
