Hey guys. I have searched around for a how to on clearing corners myself but haven't found anything. I'm still getting used to the site (different format that what I'm used to at galantforums.com) so I will readily admit that I might have missed it. I did come across a lot of links provided by posters to companies that sell cleared corners, but again, I'm looking to do this myself. I'm wondering if the baking method is applicable to the I30 or if I can just "brake" the orange color off into pieces and needle-nose plier them out.

Also, besides the obvious drop, tint and wheels, what can be done (aesthetics only) to the '98 I30? I see a hell of a lot that can be done with the next model up, but struggling with mine. Any help would be, well, helpful.

And....I'm a NuB to the Inf. but not to cars in general. Thanks people.

Are you referring to the Corner tail lights?

No. Sorry I wasn't more specific. I'm referring to the front corners. The ones that pop out. I've seen them sold as cleared but wondering if they're like most other lights and can be cleared by either baking them to separate the casings and then remove the red or can I just stick a knife in there and brake the red apart. These are the two methods I am most familiar with in clearing the front corners of headlights.

Yeah I read that one.

But again, my question is, are these headlights the same so I can do this myself.

just stick them in the oven on 300 for 10 mins, pry the lens off, and your in. put it in for another 30 before resealing to get the sealant gunky again

Cool so it's the same as every other headlight. I just wanted to make sure before I started a baking party. I didn't know if Inf. headlights are different or something. Didn't want the kitchen blowing up. Thanks for the simple answer.
