Heheh....

Yes, you use it ONLY on the outside...I wouldn't touch the insides if I were you.

This is how I got my headlights looking sweet:

Go to a place that sells dirtbikes/atvs, etc.The stuff is called: PC Plastic Renew, and it's made to make scratched dirtbike fenders look new.

It comes with everything you need to do it, rags and all. You wet sand the light first with fairly low grit sandpaper to get the surface scratches out--don't worry, while you're doign this, you'll be like "oh crap, what the hell have I done, this looks horrible." Just wait until you use the plastic renew solution and buff it out before you judge. After it was done, my lights looked A LOT better.

Just get the stuff and follow the directions. I did it like a year and a half ago and my lights still look pretty good.

The only problem is that the stuff is fairly expensive, like $10 i think.

Yeah sounds like many good ideas, about getting lights more clear. Meguiars has a complete plastic care system I think there are like 10 steps and they are more gentle on the plastic than wheel polish. But takes longer. I would vote for the clear coat idea once they are clean, or maybe the clear paint chip protectant that some dealers use.

Hey, guys, I posted a thread in the General chat section explaining that a friend of mine has a service to restore your lights like new. This is something he just started, he also does body work and is very good at what he does. I've seen a pair of headlights that he did, they were horribly yellow to begin with, they looked new when he got done. He will guarantee the finish for as long as you own the car too. I will be posting pics as soon as he is finished with the lights from my brother's Mustang. I've tried everything that you guys have mentioned on my S14 headlights to no avail. He is gonna do mine next week. I'll keep everyone posted.

Don't mess around, get the meguiars. The 2 products that you want are: Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Cleaner and Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Polish. Both of these products and thier descriptions are here: Meguiars I have used these two products for over 4 years now, and my lights look good as new, no joke.
