how to clean your gas tank

ok i used the search and didnt find anything like this but its pretty useful.

my gas tank in my s13 shell was NASTY so i thought id just have to buy a new one. i was wrong. my friend told how to clean it.

1. get bb's ( yes the ones that are used in bb guns.)2. drop your tank3. put a little bit of fresh gas in the tank (about half a gallon or so) along with about 200 bb's 4. put the cover over the assembly hole or just put the assembly back in and tighten up a few if not all of the screws.5. SHAKE!! shake the living crap out of the tank and swirl the gas around with the bbs to touch as much surface area as possible.

then you can open up the tank and repeat the process again if needed, or poor the gas out and extract the bbs ( i used a shop-vac).

and done!

i had about a quarter inch of nasty stuff at the bottom of mine and now its clean and even shiny in some parts.
