how to check ignition switch??

so car starts taking a few seconds to turn on. and sometimes doesnt until i try key on again :tisk: . so i was wondering how do i check ignition switch or grounds before i go in and tear ma dash up some pointers or wateva. this did not occur until a week ago. search didnt come up with anything. has any1 ran into this problem before battery is good and not sure bout alt. but im sure it cant be that. thanks for any help :dblthumb: (also blinkers stop working they come and go fuses are ok does any1 know where to locate ground?)

Look at the fuse box in the engine bay first and check the ENG CONT fuse. I had a similar problem like that where it wouldnt start sometimes

Ditto on the fuse. Not sure about the ground but to test the switch you'll need to take the cover off and pull your switch. Use a test light where the wires on the backside are connected. One will always have power no matter what. If that's gone, you'll need a new switch, or fuse. Go to a junkyard and take some fuses, easiest way to find the right one, for me anyway.
