Ok, so I just installed a GT2871R, finally got it all fabbed up and I think the used Z32 maf that I got is shot. Im pretty sure that I have it wired correctly but I cant get the car to idle normally or even drive without running ridiculously lean all over the place. The ECU is a stock E5 SR20 ecu and Im running the new turbo with 550cc injectors and a Z32 maf and a SAFC. For some reason, even if I leave everything at 0, the car runs ridiculously lean (16.0-19.0) I actually ahve to add about 30% of fuel on the low throtle map to get the thing to run around 15.0 so that it idles without sputtering out. I try stepping on the gas but the SAFC barely shows any increase in airflow between idle and 2000rpm. Could I have a bad MAF, or is this more likely the wiring? I have the AFC set to 2 in 6 out like I should but the thing just wont run.

As a side note, everything worked perfectly fine up to 3 days ago when I still had the stock MAF, stock turbo, and 550s running with the SAFC

Hmm, test voltage at the MAF using the procedure outlined.

You can check the MAF voltage using your safc "sensor check" mode. It should be about 0.5v at idle IIRC. It should also be fairly stable. If the voltage jumps around a lot then it could be a bad maf. Also be sure to ground the "extra" z32 maf wires to the chassis.

hope this helps

My MAF voltage is around .8ish at idle. I have no clue why my car wont even idle unless I add 20-30percent more fuel.

check for vacuum leaks between the MAF and TB. If your car is drawing in air after the MAF, you would need to add fuel to get a decent idle.
