I personally use Castrol with a Bosch Filter. I like the way the Bosch is designed. I used fram for years and never had a problem. I just like the Bosch more.

I would use Mobile 1 but my engine isnt new and Im not going to swap it over to synthetic.
I'd have to disagree. Oil filters are not created equal. Search up PalmerWMD's numerous posts and FAQ's regarding oil filters and also motor oil choices (he's a chemical engineer @ Aberdeen). Besides, he's a noobie and doesn't know where to start regardingoil filter quality.

1 - Jack vehicle up, make sure you use the proper jack points and use jack stands before getting under a vehicle

2 - Remove black screw cap on the very top of the engine

3 - Put Large enough bucket under drain plug

4 - Grab a 14mm wrench and find the drain plug. Its the one a little bit hidden, on the oil pan, and it sits on an angle

5 - Let oil drain until done

6 - Put screw back in. Don't kill the thing and tighten it too much. Just give'er but dont put too much effort into it.

7 - Unscrew the filter and remove it. It is located on the passenger side, under all those runners. You will see it. It will leak a bit.

8 - Dip your finger or something into a touch of oil and run your finger around the black rubber seal on the new filter, just to lube it up

9 - Screw the filter in. Tighten it as much as you can with your hand, but dont break a sweat. Too tight is not much fun, but you would really have to twist the crap out of it with your hand to have serious problems later on. Dont use any tools to tighten.

10 - Fill oil, approx 4L into where you took the cap off the top of the engine. I would suggest you use a funnel. If you dont have one, just cut up a 2L coke bottle or milk just or something, make sure its clean though. Check your dipstick when you figure your close.

11 - Once you have it, PUT THE BLACK CAP AT THE TOP OF THE ENGINE BACK ON, start it up for a few seconds then shut er down and check oil level again.

12 - Oil level checks out because your a pro. Put vehicle back down gently

13 - Put your used oil into the jugs you just used! Talk to any local shop and ask them where you can return oil.

Your done!!
