how to change the camshaft sensor

do i have to reset anything before installing the new camshaft position sensor? if yes then can i reset the code my unplugging the battery ? how long do i have to take the battery out for?

Removing the battery doesn't always work. It has been known to work but if you're close enough to an Auto Zone, they will usually erase the code for free.
