how to change slave cylinder

i have a some what feel on how to do it just want to make sure and be prepared for any surprisesis it just unbolt the 2 bolts holding it to transmission and remove it and disconnect the brake line?or theres more to it?what does the metal part (rod ) is connected to?never seen how its hooked up really?

it's super easy.1. loosen the line to the slave cylinder2. remove the 2 bolts that hold it to the tranny3. remove the line by unscrewing it the rest of the way4. thread the new slave cylinder onto the line making sure you have the washer on there.5. bolt it back onto the transmission 6. tighten the line the rest of the way, don't over tighten it.7. bleed the system.

most of the time, it's a biatch to bleed it.if you can't get it to bleed, you may need to eliminate the loop.
